ICAI recently revised the scheme of Education and Training for CA Course which came into effect from CA Day i.e. 1st July 2017. The three levels of CA Course are now named as : Foundation Intermediate Final Course Exams will be held twice a year i.e. May and November for all three levels. And the first exam of new CA Course will be held on May 2018 and onwards. Till May 2019, exams will be held parallelly for both Old and New Course. After May 2019 attempt, the old course of CA will be totally abolished. Students who registered themselves on/before 30th June 2017 are eligible to give exams on existing course till May 2019 attempt. It means they have 4 chances to clear their exams i.e. November 2017 to May 2019 under the existing scheme. However, if the student fails to clear his exam up to May 2019 then he has to get re-registered for the new course. Result date for CA Final examination held in May 2017 and CPT examination held in June 2017 has been updated on ICAI Web Portal. The results for the same are likely to be declared on Tuesday, 18th July 2017 around 2 PM. Students can check their result on icaiexam.icai.org by entering Exam Roll No. and Registration Number or PIN number. Students can also get their result on their email ids.
